THE MAJOR PARTS OF A COMPOSED PAIR OF COGSWELL & HARRISON 12-BORE SIDELOCK EJECTORS, serial no. 57745 / 57851, circa 1938, 27 1/2in. nitro barrels (No. 57745 nitro reproved), ribs engraved with the makers details, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, automatic safeties, beaded border and acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish on one, a bit of colour on the other, 15in. worn stocks, fore-end for the first will not affix and missing finial, the other missing fore-end (but completely unassociated fore-end present in the case), weight 6lb. 7oz and 6lb. 5oz., in their makers brass-cornered (and edged) oak and leather double guncase
